A backtest is the metering unit. Describing a strategy, editing it, chatting, and reading results don’t cost a backtest — only actually running one on historical data does.
Optimizing a strategy sweeps many parameter combinations, and each run it evaluates counts toward your backtests. If you optimize often, Pro pays for itself fast.

The 3-day free trial

New accounts start with a 3-day free trial so you can run the full loop — describe, backtest, iterate — before paying anything.

A payment method is required to start the trial. You’re not charged during the 3 days.

The trial runs the same deterministic backtests as a paid plan — real data, real numbers.

Billed after, unless you cancel

When the 3 days end, your plan begins and your card is charged. Cancel before then in the billing portal and you won’t be charged.

How backtest credits work

Your plan gives you a monthly pool of backtests. Need more in a busy stretch? Add a top-up.

Credits never expire

Top-up credits stay on your account until you use them — they don’t reset at the end of the month and they don’t disappear.

Top up anytime

Buy more backtests whenever you want, in 10∗∗,∗∗10**, **25, 50∗∗,or∗∗50**, or **100 packs. They stack on top of your plan’s monthly allowance.
Your monthly plan allowance refills each billing period. Top-up credits are separate and roll over indefinitely.

Manage your account

Everything — your plan, payment method, invoices, and cancellation — lives in the Stripe billing portal, reachable from your account settings.
Upgrade or downgrade anytime in the portal. Changes follow Stripe’s standard proration.
Add or replace a payment method in the portal — your details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
Every charge has a downloadable invoice in your billing history.
Cancel anytime in the portal. Your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, then stops — no further charges.

Billing terms

Plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Payments are non-refundable, including for unused backtests. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period. See the Terms of Service for the full billing terms.
